“Alex, what’s so great about Accelerated Coaching anyway?”

Accelerated Business and Career Coaching is an optimized blend of a variety of change work modalities and coaching principles, including cognitive and behavioral philosophies, solution-focused and strategic approaches, as well as the study of perception, the effects of language on our experience, and range of choices we perceive as a result.

The foundational concepts that allows all of these to be brought together are a neural network model of the mind borrowed from cognitive science, as well as a pragmatic, working theory of the Unconscious Mind.

© 1987-2005, Advanced Neuro DynamicsOne of the foremost techniques of accelerated coaching is Time Line Reprocessing, which was created by applying principles and techniques from several change modalities (reframing, perceptual positions, etc.) to the concept of an internal, largely unconscious memory storage system.

It is a process of guided meditation where clients imagine traversing their “Time Line” and letting go of negative emotions or limiting beliefs. Clients can also insert new events into their future Time Line that support their desired outcomes and align their mind with their goals at a deeper level.

With these techniques clients achieve rapid, lasting results in their business and personal lives. Less than useful emotional reactions, such as bouts of anger, periods of apathy, or anxiety, as well as Limiting Decisions, such as “I’m not good enough,” “I’ll never succeed”, or “I don’t deserve a great career,” create problems and false limitations and may hamper your ability to achieve your career goals and the overall quality of life you desire.

Many modalities work on addressing these kinds of issues, but none of them can match the sheer speed and effectiveness of Time Line Reprocessing.

Throughout history, the passage of time and its relation to human consciousness has been studied as a phenomenon. Aristotle was the first to mention the “stream of time” (Physics IV), and the American psychologist William James spoke of a linear memory storage as early as 1890. Finally, the concept was revived in the late 1970’s by a variety of cognitive science researchers.

Your “Time Line” is how you unconsciously store your memories, or how you know the difference between a memory from the past and a projection of the future. Since behavioral change in an individual takes place at the unconscious level, Time Line Reprocessing targets that level to release the effects of your past negative experiences and to change disempowering programming in minutes rather than days, months or years.

This is possible because your Unconscious Mind already knows how to navigate your Time Line (and these are “waking state” guided meditations requiring no hypnosis). The techniques simply show the client a method for permanently letting go of old issues by doing a temporal context reframe on a given past event.

Additionally, it has been found that the Unconscious can then be prompted do the same on its own to all similar events stored in a chain of associated neural networks. Therefore this technique works a lot faster and more thoroughly than similar redecision or regression approaches.
